The latest installment of the James Bond franchise had a grand unveiling today, with director Sam Mendes revealing the title of the 24th film to be called ‘SPECTRE’.
The film has also been announced for a scheduled release date of October 23, 2015 in the UK and November 6th in the US.
Fans of the franchise may know SPECTRE to be the terrorist organisation Bond had a few run-in’s with in the early films, an acronym for ‘Special Executive for Counter-Intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge And Extortion’. (quite a mouthful)
It has also been a rumour lately that Christoph Waltz would play a bad guy, but no word on his role other than a confirmation that he is part of the cast. Others named for the film are Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista, Monica Belluci and Lea Seydoux. As well as of course the recurring members, Daniel Craig, Rory Kinnear, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes.
Last but no least, the trusty Aston Martin makes its return in the form of the DB10 model.
